In Zug entrance to the public baths on the lake are free.
Standing on the shore in Zug the needle of the Church tower in Cham can be seen across the lake.

The track follows more or less the shore, for some parts it runs
directly along the water. At the harbor restaurant there is a short detour
to the main road, but after the Strandbad we are in contact with the lake
again.

There are many interesting lookouts towards the alps and the towns on
the lake.
If you want to walk only one way there are excellent connections by public
transports. In summer of course there is the option of using the ship as
well.
Entering Cham you pass the castle "Andreas" (private). After
crossing the river Lorze you are in the park "Villette", a
lovely setting and space for strolling around.
